Only the Frequency Range between 5 and 16 KHz is usable, above the Pocket PC (especialy the Soundchip and Speaker) is unable to play sounds.
These high Frequencies are partly inaudible for Humans. Dogs hear higher Frequencies better and can be trained for a certain Frequency. At the age as with humans the audition of the dog diminishes, therefore you use low Frequencies with older dogs.
